Grave Mercy

The first novel in the His Fair Assassin series, Grave Mercy, is dark, haunting, and chillingly romantic. It is set in Brittany in 1485 as we follow Ishmae as she escapes from a terrifying arranged  marriage, is trained as an assassin, and sent on a very important mission. Ishmae is a handmaiden of Death and is immune to every type of poison imaginable. Grave Mercy is a dark, gloomy tale with twists and turns in almost every page-turning chapter.

Movie Status: The series is fairly new and not all of the books are out yet. His Fair Assassin needs a bigger fan base before a movie can be considered.
